The wines are made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that are vinified with no oak contact to retain the elegant aromas and clean, fresh character that this region is prized for. They've banned synthetic products on their soils applying tradition and encouraging vines to grow their roots to mine the soil’s minerality.

My only complaint is the quality of the cork, for some reason, it feels strange, however, some of these bottles come now with a metallic cap (I would prefer a good quality cork cap instead though), but it does not affect the quality of this great wine. Louis Henri Denis Jadot established this wine label in 1859, and this family-owned domaine has been making wine lovers happy to date. Today the business is headed up by Pierre Henry Gagey, who was entrusted with the management of Louis Jadot in 1962 by Madame Jadot following the death of her son, Louis Auguste Jadot. Showcasing a soft and gentle creamy flavour, full of crisp apple characters, it’s one of our favourite choices to complement a cheeseboard and crackers.
